While there is no single definition of “strong CBD”, we consider high potency to be at least 50 milligrams (mg) of CBD per 1 milliliter (ml) serving. However, keep in mind that CBD affects everyone differently, so what seems strong to you may not be as potent for someone else. A high-concentration CBD oil is any oil that has a cannabidiol concentration of 25% or more relative to the amount of carrier oil. Oils with a concentration between 10% and 25% are of medium concentration and those below 10% are considered to have low strength.
If you prefer to take a capsule, a typical starting product will provide 6.4 mg of a “high concentration” oil in which CBD is mixed with olive and hemp oil.
